Southeast Texas Women in Industry Scholarship

The Southeast Texas Women in Industry Scholarship is open to all female High School graduating seniors progressing into a STEM related field of study. These funds will be used to cover the cost of tuition, books, supplies, room, and board.

Scholarship Criteria

  • Applicant must be pursuing a university degree and or career at a trade school relevant to industry. Suitable fields include but are not limited to:
    • Engineering disciplines (Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering)
    • Environmental Science or Industrial Safety
    • Business Administration, i.e. Supply Chain Management, Public Relations, or Human Resources
    • Information Technology or Data Science with applications in petrochemical industries.
  • Grade Point Average (GPA) minimum of 2.0
  • Recommendation letter from a non-relative
  • Community involvement
  • Must graduate from a Highschool in the Golden Triangle Area and the school must be involved with Women in Industry Week activities.
